Job Overview

Wings Technical Services is seeking an experienced API Inspector for a short-term project at Oryx, RLIC, Qatar. The selected candidate must have 10–15 years of relevant inspection experience and hold valid API 510, API 570, and ASNT Level II certifications. The assignment is expected to last 2–3 months, with a 12-hour shift and a negotiable day rate. Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of pressure vessels, piping systems, and related equipment in accordance with API 510 and API 570 standards.
Perform visual inspections and assess equipment integrity, defects, corrosion, and other damage.
Carry out inspection activities in compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and project requirements.
Review inspection records, technical documents, and equipment history.
Prepare accurate inspection reports and recommend corrective actions where required.
Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and quality teams to ensure safe and efficient inspection activities.
Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and applicable HSE requirements.
Submit inspection findings and relevant documentation to the client as required.

Requirements

Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in API inspection, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Valid API 510 certification (Pressure Vessel Inspector).
Valid API 570 certification (Piping Inspector).
Valid ASNT Level II certification in relevant NDT methods.
Strong knowledge of applicable API standards, inspection procedures, and equipment integrity requirements.
Experience in pressure vessel and piping inspection, defect identification, and inspection reporting.
Ability to prepare and review technical inspection reports and documentation.
Must be able to provide copies of all relevant certificates and supporting documents.
Must be available for a 2–3 month project at Oryx, RLIC, Qatar.
Willingness to work 12 hours per shift.
Expected day rate must be mentioned when applying.
