Job Overview

Wings Technical Services W.L.L. is urgently hiring an Electrical Site Engineer for an industrial project in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The ideal candidate must hold a B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemical, or large-scale industrial projects. The candidate should have proven expertise in cable pulling, cable dressing, glanding, termination, cable routing, QA/QC inspections, site execution planning, and electrical installation activities. A strong understanding of industrial electrical standards and site safety requirements is essential. Previous experience in RLIC or QatarEnergy projects, particularly cable installation in pipe racks and process buildings, will be an advantage. Responsibilities

Plan, supervise, and coordinate electrical installation activities at the project site.
Oversee cable pulling, dressing, glanding, termination, and cable routing works.
Review electrical drawings, cable schedules, and technical specifications to ensure accurate execution.
Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed according to project schedules and quality standards.
Conduct QA/QC inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, QA/QC teams, and other disciplines for smooth site execution.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, permit-to-work procedures, and site HSE requirements.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to electrical installation and cable works.
Prepare daily progress reports, inspection records, and site execution documentation.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
Coordinate inspections, testing, and rectification of electrical installation works.
Maintain good housekeeping and ensure safe working conditions at the project site.

Requirements

B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemical, or large-scale industrial projects.
Proven experience in cable pulling, cable dressing, glanding, termination, and cable routing.
Strong knowledge of electrical installation standards, drawings, cable schedules, and technical specifications.
Experience in QA/QC inspections, site execution planning, and electrical installation supervision.
Good understanding of industrial electrical systems, safety procedures, and permit-to-work requirements.
Previous experience in RLIC or QatarEnergy projects is preferred.
Experience in cable installation at pipe racks and process buildings is an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Ability to coordinate site teams and ensure timely completion of project activities.
Must be available for immediate joining in Qatar.
