Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician with Oil & Gas / Petrochemical experience. The candidate will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and equipment while strictly following site safety and work permit procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
  • Maintain HV/MV/LV transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, cables and terminations.
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, UPS systems and electrical control systems.
  • Maintain lighting, Cathodic Protection (CP), hoists and flare electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret Single Line Diagrams, control schematics and electrical drawings.
  • Use electrical testing equipment including Multimeter and Megger.
  • Troubleshoot motor and feeder protection systems.
  • Follow PTW, LOTO and all Oil & Gas safety procedures.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and according to project requirements.
