Responsibilities

  • Operate manlift equipment safely and efficiently according to project requirements.
  • Inspect the manlift before use and report any defects or mechanical issues.
  • Perform daily pre-use checks and ensure the equipment is in safe working condition.
  • Follow site safety procedures, HSE regulations, and permit-to-work requirements.
  • Ensure the manlift is operated within its specified load capacity and operating limits.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other site personnel during lifting and access operations.
  • Maintain awareness of overhead obstructions, ground conditions, and nearby personnel.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection systems as required.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, and incidents immediately.
  • Maintain daily equipment inspection records and comply with project instructions.
