Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Safety / HSE Officer for an urgent 3-month Facilities Management project in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting HSE activities, conducting safety inspections, preparing reports, and maintaining effective communication on site. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Facilities Management, Camp, or Construction environments. Indian and Nepalese candidates with good English and Hindi communication skills are preferred. A Diploma/Degree in HSE or a related field is required, while NEBOSH / IOSH certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular HSE inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.
Monitor compliance with site safety procedures, HSE requirements and applicable standards.
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and incident-related HSE reports.
Identify hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and awareness sessions for employees.
Monitor the proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
Support incident and near-miss investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
Maintain HSE records, inspection checklists and related documentation.
Coordinate with site management and workers to address safety concerns.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure effective HSE communication across the site.
