Posted: 05 October 2026 Wings Technical Services W.L.L is hiring a Senior Backend Developer to build backend services and manage production databases for a leading oil & gas technology client in Qatar. You will own the project data model and keep databases fast, secure and reliable, working under the guidance of the development lead. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services and microservices in Java
  • Design and maintain the project data model
  • Write, debug and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures with the team
  • Manage database performance, integrity, security and user access
  • Handle database tuning, upgrades, patches, backup and recovery
