Job Overview

Wings Technical Services W.L.L. is urgently hiring experienced Welders for an Offshore Oil & Gas project in Qatar. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant welding experience and certification in applicable welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, or FCAW. Applicants should be capable of reading technical drawings, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and welding specifications, with good knowledge of welding techniques and quality standards. This opportunity is open to locally available candidates in Qatar with a valid QID who are ready for immediate joining. The duty schedule is 10 hours per day, and the project duration will be based on project requirements. Responsibilities

Perform welding activities for offshore Oil & Gas project requirements in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
Execute welding using applicable processes such as SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW.
Read and interpret technical drawings, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and welding instructions.
Ensure all welding work meets project quality standards and applicable safety requirements.
Inspect welds for visible defects and rectify welding issues as required.
Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in safe working condition.
Follow offshore safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and site instructions.
Coordinate with supervisors and inspection teams to complete work within the project schedule.
Comply with all company HSE policies and project-specific quality requirements.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Welder in Oil & Gas, offshore, or related industrial projects.
Relevant welding certifications in SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, or other applicable welding processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and welding instructions.
Good knowledge of welding techniques, quality standards, and inspection requirements.
Valid QID is mandatory.
Must be locally available in Qatar.
Immediate availability to join is required.
Must comply with project HSE policies and offshore safety procedures.
Ability to work 10 hours per day and follow project schedules.
